MOTHER GHOST

Mother Ghost is now available to the public. The reviews are in.

"How refreshing to find an American film that's willing to deal with a real-life, adult situation in a way that's both mature and entertaining. I admired this film-and I enjoyed it too."

Leonard Maltin

I was very surprised at this film. In it, the main character (played with amazing skill and emotional nakedness by Mark Thompson) lives in a state of denial as to the effect of his mother's death. This film features top talent, many of whom have careers that go back decades. After viewing the film, you get the feeling that there was an understood collective vision among everyone involved. That they set out to make a film that mattered. A film that touches the heart and actually says something. They succeeded.

Mother Ghost is one of those little films that sneaks up on you and catches you by surprise. As you look at the cover you can see that the film is packed with actors that have been doing this for a while and know their way around a set, with the exception of one, that being Mark Thompson. This movie is actually his brainchild, his blood sweat and tears if you will. And after watching it you will never believe that this was his first starring turn in a movie. His acting, his performance is the one thing you will be talking about long after the credits have ended.
